According to a CBC Nova Scotia news article entitled "
Some want a robust gold industry in Nova Scotia. Others say good riddance", looks like Signal Gold made a big mistake in investing in the Goldboro project.
The same article also said that the Goldboro Mine Project scheduled for this year will likely won't go ahead or even cancel, and you can blame a so-called "pro business" Nova Scotia Provincial Government under Tim Houston for the lengthy delays.
If Goldboro is cancelled, we can blame it on Tim Houston and the Nova Scotia Government for acting like hypocrites as they claim to be pro business and champions of red tape reduction, but constantly delay approvals for gold mines, not just with St. Barbara and Archibald Lake, but also Goldboro.
Best bet for Signal Gold is to get out of Nova Scotia and refocus on gold exploration along the Baie Verte Peninsula.
As for Tim Houston and the Nova Scotia Government, c'mon, this is Canada, not Greece.
