Pre Merger stock value diff between Signal and NexG

If you hold say 1000 Signal shares today, they will be converted over to NexG at a rate of .1244, so you will end up with 124.4 shares of NexG shares.

Signal shares are selling between 0.08 and 0.085 (I know as I bought several 10 of thousand more SGNL shares yesterday - average price for me was 0.0835)...so for this discussion, let's use the higher Signal share sale value of 0.085.

NexG shares are trading this AM at .81 per share.

So the current value of the 1000 shares of Signal at $0.085 per share is $85.00

Post Merger you will have 124.4 shares of NexG valued at 124.4 * .81 (price this AM) = $100.76

Quite the difference...very odd that both share prices don't move more uniformily...perhaps they will as we get closer to December when this merger is supposed to finalize.  Certainly explains the high volume on the Signal side of the house as compared to NexG volume (VERY LOW).  Perhaps it will stay her and provide a carrot to anyone interested in the Signal financing...

Will be interesting to see where this ends up

You are right GoldHill but i'm not sure we will vote for... 0,1244 for each share of NexG, it's not a good deal for me (same as the price we has for Point Rouse, 4M$ and after they sold MAE for about 0,035$...wow, look the price of MAE today)

I will be voting Yes with my pile of signal shares....yes for debt releif, merger to a much smaller share float, big names behind NEXG plans to advance one of two projects to production...you move over to NexG with the same current dollar value you have in Signal today (plus what looks like a 15% premium on the share conversion today)... What is not to like here...alternative is to sit and hope ...more

I agree there are a lot of positives behind the merge and that the synergy is better with NEXG than staying alone. But perhaps there is other alternatives than the "sit and hope". You are referring about the (unfortunate) fate of the merger between Anaconda and MAE. I agree with you that it would have been such a good thing would they had combined their synergy! But I remember too that ...more

Well at this point...after asking...nobody new is knocking on Signal's door to counter NexG....that may change as the weeks roll by...TBD...risky if you don't take the parallel move (dollarwise) which is on the table currently (plus the bonus if the share prices keep the current spread).  IMHO it is WAY better than floundering/diluting and HOPING FOR SOMETHING BETTER (bird in the ...more

For what indeed. This is all in my process gearings and that's why I'm still not fixed and that I cannot say YES as of today. As for the dilutive aspect, the fiancing done by SGNL as part of the merger IS dilutive with actually 103M shares at 0.087 and an optional 15M shares to come. Add to that the same amount of warrants at 0.11818 (base on the NR they just published).  There are ...more

Benji, the more I'm digging in my DD, the more I think we did not get the best deal neither. As for Point-Rousse selling, I cannot say it was a bad deal for SGNL as Stoger' Tight was not a project to ensure the future of the complexe. MAE had Hammerdown and Orion to feed the mill. Moreover, there was a lot of dollars that would have been necessary to close the mine or keep it in care and ...more

GNH...just my 2 cents worth in regards to the post. Quite the difference...very odd that both share prices don't move more uniformily...perhaps they will as we get closer to December when this merger is supposed to finalize.  Certainly explains the high volume on the Signal side of the house as compared to NexG volume (VERY LOW).  Perhaps it will stay her and provide a carrot to ...more

Before I get corrected.... the 90 + by morgan stanley was a bit of an exaggeration.  Some days that was the case.  Not today..  Today it was only about 65%. Financing fully subscribed.  Once they stop selling the price can move up. And yes... I nibbled at it a bit.
