WTI @ $62.77

The bulls will not be denied this time. Thanks to all you greens who are driving BIG oil away from oil to make all these small Surges lots of money. When oil get super expensive we will all be driving electric cars and saving the planet.

But one thing i don't get. If we need energy to charge these electric cars by the 100's of millions, where will that energy come from ? Solar and wind you say ?
Where does the energy come from to make that ?

Perhaps the answer isn't EV's. Perhaps it is not using so many damn cars.
Just a thought.

Well I don't see cars going away. What else you got? Fred flintstone or george jetson?

Maybe we rethink how we consume. Cars are not the future unless we figure out a way to harness FUSION commercially. Doubt that happens in our lifetime. Maybe never. We need to rethink how we develop our infrastructure...cities with their sprawling subburbs. Everything we have developed to date is predicated on cheap energy. It's not going to stay cheap.  If the climate scientists are ...more

You probably wouldn't know the difference between reality and sci-fi . There's only a 100km layer of atmosphere on this big ball we call Earth and you should get off...you are a waste of oxygen.

Sorry Senseimike, but it appears you have swallowed the Magic Koolaid. The Climate Scientists have been proven wrong on all fronts. Oceans rising 60 meters?????  Why are all these Climate Change alarmists living in multi-million dollar waterfront properties and why are banks / insurance companies still financing said properties? mugs

The climatism cult plan is....make personal cars so expensive(EV or gas) that many will give up either form of vehicle and be forced into mass transit.  Do you really think that if millions switch to EVs they arent going to tax the he!! out of the energy they use too?  Watch for GPS tracking that measures how far you drove and you get a bill.
Comment by balmusette on Mar 02, 2021 9:03pm
No need for GPS tracking. They will have a lower tax rate for the electricity that you use in your home and they will charge a higher rate for EV owners who will use the fast recharge plug. Same electricity going in the house but different tax rate depending on the use. No way they are going to lose all these taxes.

They will just keep jacking the taxes on gasoline. Just like cigarettes. You will be publicly shamed, taxed into the poorhouse, and forced to watch your lungs on exhaust fumes.
