I think the main reason is new investors have better advice and more options with safer stocks. And a lot are staying away from & Gas. Even Boston Pizza one year return (BPF.UN:CA) $819 to $15.76 Plus Yield 6.472 Dividend 0.085 CAD Div. Pay Date 2021-10-29 Div. Freq. M

Yeah I think dropping the banksers is the right way to go.  Maybe if they can sell some Mt. Bastion assets if we are lucky to go over $100 oil and take free cash flow and they can get rid of bank debt.  I will say one positive about Canadian bankers is that there interest rates are fairly reasonable.  I remember Baytex paid 8% for a bond issue recently.
