Big Dump Today, But Good Recovery

Not sure why over 200k shares were dumped today or by which house, but someone either wanted desperately out of their position or shorts were hittin stop losses.

Hopefully it's not an indicator of something negative coming out in the near future.

It's a bit concerning, but will wait and see what happens in the week ahead.

The quick recovery was comforting though.

I saw a 101.2K share transaction cross at $10.64 from RBC then a 43.5K buy jsut after from BNS.

The 43.5K buy was for $10.68

Thanks.  It's quite the volume day for this stock. Could just be some repositioning.

Yes this is a big volume day but it looks like they are orderly crosses, not panic selling.

Thanks for sharing that ALTEL.   Never know the reason for why people sell or buy, but yesterday's trading was not normal for this stock. I don't believe it has anything to do with fundamentals, but rather with some individual repositioning for whatever personal reason. I think Anonymous and CIBC got lucky with the cheap shares.

Seems to be happening again, albeit at a lessor pace so far. The markets are down, but I'm getting the feeling someone with a major stake is lowering their exposure for whatever reason. Could move down to the low $10 range and make a double bottom prior to hopefully moving higher.
