This rally is more than just chasing yield...

It is a recognition that this is a very resilient business with growth potential, and top tier management in my view.  They are not resting on their laurels.  While the yield may soon be approaching 5%, I still think there will be room to grow the distribution over the next 5 years.

100% agree! I'm thinking this will be a 4-5B MCAP in the next 5-10 years. Continue to aquire and expand facilities, apply the existing business model, and the company will grow exponentially. We've been lucky to be accumulating over the last 4 years... time for us to shine.

During covid when I was buying SIA, EXE and CSH, the banter across these boards was how they were all headed for bankruptcy as everyone talked up not-for-profit and home care models. Non-profit just doesn't work. Governments are already sinking in debt and bureaucracy. For anyone complaining at wait times to enter a LTC facility, it would only worsen under a non-profit model.
