but this quiet, boring little gem has almost doubled since I got in it around a year ago.  Gotta love the boring stocks ...

  I am so overweight this name now!  Finding the cheap dogs like SJ and LB has been good.  REITS are hurting though - they just keep getting cheaper.

NTR (Nutrien) and PLC (Park Lawn Corp) are two others like SJ that I own... boring but profitable.

  I am a little underwater in Nutrien. Probably around even with the dividends. I bought NTR after they got rid of the bozo CEO that tried to merge hydro one with a utility based in Spokane Washington... he become the target of Doug Ford exposing liberal sleaze. He issued instalment receipts that tanked and had to be repaid at par when the wheels fell off the deal. I guess I owe him a ...more

Am a lttle luckier on NTR up a good bit but wished I had sold a few when it peaked at near $130.   Cheers and best of luck to you.
