If this were simply a matter of paying Mr Mill a million or two or even three, I think this would have been settled long ago.

We have no clue what his ask is. How would you feel about making a deal if it turned out he wanted $100 million?

He can ask anything he wants but he'll never ever mine a single ounce from it.  He cannot build a mine, cannot access the property, will never get a single permit etc. It is totally and completely useless to him except for a payoff from Skeena who should have known better years ago.  He will be responsible for care and maintence which I'm certain he is either unable or unwilling
