Albino Lake

Here's an article that provides some insight on what was done at Albino Lake during the closing of the tailings site. It would appear that it would not require much effort to mine the resource. Too bad it has come to this legal interruption which should have been addressed years ago..Just slipped under the radar I guess or perhaps during that time Barrick did not appreciate the value of the waste rock? It's come back to haunt SKE. Rocks were like money in the bank collecting interest from a long lost uncle.

At some point we're going to get a press ...more

I always appreciate people who do homework instead of just babbling or spouting off opinions. That was a good and enlightening read.  Makes me more confident that we'll eventually inherit it as it has to be cared for and Mr Mill is in no position to do so.  We'll reach a settlement after his case with the other huckster outfit gets settled.  It's in everyones interest to ...more

Dumb question,,,Why is Skeena mentioned all through this article,,,and never Barrick? el d
Comment by metalhead666 on Dec 02, 2022 3:51am
Barrick walked away from the whole thing. When they ceased mining they couldn't have cared less about Albino Lake. When they sold the property claims to Skeena no one bothered to check if Albino Lake land was part of the package. Everyone just assumed it was junk ground until Skeena sunk a few holes into it. Everyone except Mr Mill who realized there was a million tons of 6 gram per ton stuff ...more
