Serendipity
Having followed this company for a few years, bot and sold several times, I have witnessed this company have its share of time in the doldrums. I've also been critical of management decisions around fund raising, i.e. bot deals in the past.
That said, I cannot recall a situation such as we are witnessing right now, a stock that was plugging away in well-deserved mediocrity (marketwise) that suddenly, overnight transformed itself from ugly duckling to beautiful swan. It started with the financing. I was expecting horror show v.3.
So were the insiders, or so I contend. There was a big bunch of insider sales just weeks before the financing deal was announced.
On the morning of the announcement I committed all available funds in my accounts to SKE at $6.39 or so.. Was shaking my head in bewilderment the next day when the share price went to $5.60. Some things you see in the market are simply unexplainable. And stupid.
Shortly after, we had news of the German investor adding to its position. Then the crazy court decision! I did not see that one coming down the road. Long story short, you don't see these happy stories/stars aligning very frequently. Enjoy.
