I totally agree. A total disgrace if not a total fraud. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ALL THE ANALYISTS HAVE THIS AS A $18 TO $20 STOCK THIS YEAR?
Is there a single follower on this Board that can explain this!!!!!

OK, I'll take a stab. Not all analysts are that positive. For instance, I think the Scotia analyst has a target of 'only' $12 or $14. Keep in mind these people are congenitally overly-optimistic. I am not very sure how these people calculate these NAV-based targets. I assume they take 1.3 billion pounds of copper and assign a guesstimate of x pennies per pound. As the company hasn' ...more

The copper is needed yesterday. There is no way this mega-project will sit untouched for much longer as the lead time to put a deposit into production is a decade or more. Warintza has one potential SA competitor, Filo, but the valuation for that one is in nosebleed territory. Warke needs to put SLS's IR and Business Development teams in overdrive to ensure a timely exit transaction. He may ...more

Re getting IR and Business Development teams in overdrive - I don't think Mr Warke needs an IR department. If he has one, it's probably just for show. This is the downside of having a controlling shareholder who is so wealthy he really couldn't care where the next half-billion is coming from. As far as Business Development, let's assume there's some truth to the $20 per share ...more
