Stock splits like this TC and SOBO split are a pain with my 2013 desktop version of Quicken. If you treat it as a stock split, Qicken assigns the split individually to all of the TRP transactions and you end up with a whole bunch of past transactions. If you make a mistake it's difficult to correct it. I find it easier to treat this a a return of capital and a purchase of new shares using the return of capital. Probably not exactly correct buy a lot simpler for entry and tracking in Quicken.

It takes only two entries. The first entry is for a return of capital equal to 0.09 of the TRP ACB. The second entry is for the purchase of the 0.2 shares per TRP shares using the return of capital amount as the total purchase price and no commission.
