Do the sales have anything to do with Slate Office Reit or are the properties privately held by Slate Asset Managment?

See more complete version below.  Sounds like the transaction has nothing to do with SOT.  Hilarious how they are spinning their defeat in the battle for control of SOT as part of their strategy.   https://financialpost.com/pmn/business-wire-news-releases-pmn/slate-asset-management-announces-acceleration-of-global-essential-real-estate-strategy-and-strategic-reduction-in-office ...more

Its ridiculous that they got the boot from Slate Office then they announce they are selling off the office assets.  What were they waiting for?  The milk to run dry from the cow?

Todd, do you know that you almost always get your facts wrong?  Think before you type.

How do you know this?  SLAM resigned.  If you know GA was successful in ousting them please do tell.  This saga probably has a few more chapters. Resigning as managing partner with a significant ownership stake, may mean they intend to go rogue.  Gloves may be coming off. Enjoy!

You got a precedent here that's how.  Name another Externally managed REIT where the managing company relinquished control over the REIT willingly and gave up miillions and millions of dollars in the act.   Do you know what fiduciary duty is?  And what that duty is to SLAM shareholders? I will wait.
