Propane in a new industrial revolution

https://doomberg.substack.com/p/farmers-on-the-brink

What does propane supply have to do with farming? Grain drying. Here’s a primer on the importance of drying, from Wikipedia:

Hundreds of millions of tonnes of wheat, corn, soybean, rice and other grains as sorghum, sunflower seeds, rapeseed/canola, barley, oats, etc., are dried in grain dryers. In the main agricultural countries, drying comprises the reduction of moisture from about 17-30% w/w to values between 8 and 15% w/w, depending on the grain. The final moisture content for drying must be adequate for storage.

My interpretation : If we do see a food crisis propane could be put into the spotlight as a very crucial commodity and superior plus being an integral part of the shipping process could benefit from the shift . We do know that politicnas care about being more green in their energy policy and propane is a cleaner fuel. With more Nat Gas coming online due to the war in ukraine and wanting to ween Europe off the Russsian gas supply we could see more production in Nat Gas which could produce more propane as it's a bi product of nat gas. With globalization being a huge topic lately we could see more production of goods in north america to create more jobs and be a country that relies more on exporting it's good instead of importing . If this globaliztion trasition happens we will see more industrial productivity and more propane being consumed . I am not an expert and this isn't finacial advice. I am new to the space and full disclosure have a position in SPB . I am sure someone could poke holes in what i'm saying so feel free so I can learn as well.

In order to zero carbonize the steel industry, the shipping industry, long haul trucking industry, the chemical industry, and perhaps the commercial airline industry, one has to look at green hydrogen and who can deliver it using current nat gas/propane distribution networks. SPB fits this idea and has the scale to be a market player. Thoughts welcome. s4l

I like the thoughts , @soup4lunch I would direct you to Luke Gromens new research ( https://www.grant-williams.com/podcast/0028-luke-gromen/ ) where there could be a decoupling of the perto dollar to a gold pegged oil standard . If so I see alternative energies breaking out . I like the Green Hydrogen in the furture for superior plus and it's good to see potential growth in a rather ...more
