Re Re:Brookfield you Happy with 7.25% SPB

This is why it is important for every common shareholder to vote against this Hoard of Directors. The last meeting was held on May 14th, so ~7 months to go. Less than half the shares were voted (apathetic shareholders). Note support for "super" Allan MacDonald; that needs to drop by a lot.

@Rocet98

You have no clue....

Allan MacDonald, CEO made total compensation of $10,284,000 in 2023.

Darren Hribar, SVP and CLO's salary wasn't disclosed in the latest managment information circular but I'm guessing he made at least $1 million in 2023......so him investing ~$15,000 in shares on Sept. 10th doesn't really signify confidence in the company when it's not even 1 week's salary for him.

Brookfield wants the company to use up all of its available cash and liquidity for executive compensation and dividends so that Superior has to borrow more money from them at a high interest rates and with convertible options.  So if the company fails, Brookfield is in a good position to acquire them on the cheap.  Preferred shareholders and bondholders take priority to common shareholders.....remember that.

Allan MacDonald is f-ing this company into the ground.

Inferior Minus is one of, if not the highest, yielding stocks on the TSX. If they cut their dividend after what Allan MacDonald, CEO, said on the last earnings call, their whole executive team should be fired. Their yield better come down quick i.e stock price rise.
