Lender of last resort

Do we think it possible that Janes might be a lender of last resort for SIR CORP if needed?  He has an increasing amount of skin in the game.  SIR CORP would have to swallow their pride, but if it was that or going bust....

I am not suggesting that we are close to that scenario, but looking at worst case scenarios if this drags on through the summer.

We (and Europe) are a couple of months behind the US which, at one point was leading the world in daily cases, is now leading in daily vaccinations. Today on CNBC the hosts were talking about how restaurants are fully packed and how hard it is to get reservatons. Hard to believe when we look at what's going on here. I should add they were referring to restos in New York, which was previously hard hit by covid and locked down much like Ontario is now.

Vaccine roll-out is the key because the effect is so dramatic,  The UK is down to just over 2000 cases a day, and Ontario is double that despite being a fifth of the population and less dense.

Bottom line, the vaccines work. The epicentre of covid, nursing/retirement homes, is now under safely under control. We will get to herd immunity in Canada eventually, I think by late summer/early Fall. This current shutdown will be our last.
