BlueCollar

After reading some of your posts, it would appear you do not have a very firm grasp on accounting principles. You blather on about all the DD you have done, but what good are those conclusions if they are based on faulty reasoning?

And once again, considering you own no shares and have stated you don't want to buy back in, why are you spending so much time here?

I agree, so I gave up replyingto his uninformed comments.

Keep on posting BlueCollar! I like to see your points of view articulated,.Just because you put out facts and may at times draw an inaccurate conclusion I find it valuable to followup on items you post. Keeps me thinking :)

Food For Thought   I have never said that Student Transportation is a bad company. The concept is great (Kids have to go to school regardless of the economy) and they do a very good job for their customers.   In my “opinion” there is a fundamental problem with the corporate structure. Student Transportation is for all intents and purposes’ an American company that listed on the TSX to ...more

Man, you really do like to stretch the facts. You are implying that somehow STB has control over exchange rates? And maybe that money they raised from the "dilutive equity issue" was used for expansion? Everyone encourages honest dialogue, but since you sold, you have done nothing but post misleading bull.

Hi righand2: BlueCollar51 may or may not be correct in his points, but I appreciate a constructive discussion.  I want a reasonable explanation for the decrease in the stock price ... and I suspect there is negative sentiment with similar views to RIGHAND2 out there.  There is a fair amout of cheerleading on this stock -- and it is not jiving with the anability of this stock to ...more

You might want to consider the possibility that there is no logical explanation for irrational market behavior ? I have taken the view that this is a solid company, with solid management and back up my opinion with 36,000 STB shares  There are no events, other than short trading (both ways) that justify 6% price swings for STB.

Link here - https://tmx.complinet.com/en/display/display.html?rbid=2072&element_id=566&print=1 So I guess we'll find out within the next 3 days how much they bought back. It might be wise to wait until then to make a claim such as the one you made?

Just so I'm clear, your assertion is that the SEDI report for August 5 of this year represent trades that actually accurred on August 5th, as opposed to trades under the NCIB for the month of July? I have no basis to say whether you're right or wrong, just asking. There are multiple other companies that I'm following that have issued NCIBs in similar time frames - a good example is ...more

FYI; I had a look and as per the NR the Intertain NCIB (T.IT) began on Sept 21. The NCIB purchases have been showing up as “Marked” trades on the day of execution. You can expect that on or about Oct 10 the NCIB purchases from Sept 21 up to and including Sept 30 will be reported then.   The Reported Aug 05 STB NCIB was for that day. If you look further back you will see that when STB had an ...more

It is you who doesn't understand the reporting rules, and that doesn't reflect well on your purpose for posting misleading garbage on this board.
