Here's the latest Upgrade report on STB from Zack's dated March 13, 2015. https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/167589/why-student-transportation-stb-could-shock-the-market-soon If they were completely wrong then, their track record suggests that their "sell" now is a very strong buy directive.

my question on Zacks other than who are they ....if there has been no company financial releases since their upgrade and buy recommendation what information did they have to make a sell call ? I hope they didn't rely on false reports? did they call the company and learn new facts? I doubt it. This show them as a less than credible source of recommendations. as Zacks said before lets see what ...more

I read both the Upgrade report of March 2015 and the downgrade report of Jan 2016. I found no fundamental analysis. I suspect the computer algorithm driving Zack's is a trend-following algo: If it rose then buy, and if it fell then sell. This algorithm will generate a positive spread over an index over time because it assumes infinite liquidity to move at the stipulated price, and it can ...more
