Fund Manager Bulls On STC

Jason Donville (Donville Kent Asset Management)

STC as a percentage of his portfolio:
Unknown  by me, but he has commented very favourably on STC in the past.

Andrey Omelchak (Lionguard Canadian Small Cap Fund)

STC is his largest holding at 8.29% of the fund's portfolio as at October 31, 2021.

David Barr (Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund)

As at June 30, 2021, STC appears to be the second largest technology holding in the fund (WE being the first - personally, I am not a fan of WE).

While fund managers make mistakes, and Donville in particular seems to either hit a grand slam or strike out with a number of his recommendations, his overall record in terms of portfolio return is very good and I have used his suggestions as a starting point for researching new ideas.

I also respect David Barr and like to know what he's holding.

Haven't followed Omelchak that long, but like his investment philosophy.

Absolutely true. Others that still like Sangoma are Keystone Financial (Ryan Irvine), 5i, and many others. Sangoma will be volatile but I have lots of confidence in their mgmt team. These are the same people who have taken the company from an outmoded niche player that was very very small to the modern diversified company it is now.

Talking about Keystone , Monday they said they plan on talking with management and to expect an updated report out soon. GLTA
