My view is that an increasing focus on the environment and negative attitude towards fracking could lead to a situation where it is much harder to get new fossil fuel projects going. Given that a key problem has been too much supply pushing down prices, an administration that is not a cheerleader for the fossil fuel industry could help prices go up and thus make companies like Suncor more ...more

Not sure how much Biden will impact renewables north of the border... My guess is that the benefit in the short term is negligible, if any.

Agree. That's why all the major capital foreigners left to LatAM, Africa and other 2-3rd world places just sleazier tondo business as oil demand increases thanks to major emerging markets and China. Canada has only 1 customer. USA and the great communist pipeline projects will get cancelled soon flushing more BNs of mom and pop tax dollars down the drain. If Biden is smart he bans all SU oil ...more
