This is SU's plan ... So I am holding to it.

But in 2021, our focus is sticking to our plan and executing independent [of the] share price. If the price stays like this, were going to make enormous progress in paying down our debt and buying back shares. After they done debt repaying and share buyback, they will make SU pop to 40s within weeks if oil price stays 55+. Just don't dump SU and jump onto 40$/share IMO or CNQ, you will regret for another miss. Or we should choose something else other than O&G.

very frustrating to listen to Canads stance on oil,but i to will stay invested.I like Suncors low cost per barell,i like the cost savings we will see through their taking over the operation of syncrude,and with debt repayment and share buybacks,and the future extra markets they will reach in 2022 with the completion of the trans mountain pipeline,it is to much to walk away from. They are huge,they ...more

There is another way of looking at it too , the lower share price will allow SU to retire more shares per dollar and ultimately , it should prove to be a good investment long term . Management has no incentive to talk up the price while they are buying back shares . SU is like an ocean liner at cruising speed , it takes many kilometers to stop or change course . I think the SP will be range bound ...more

This is true, I just hope there isn't another correction due to... pick a reason... another wave, inflation numbers, interest rate policies, etc. I just thought I could retire a few shares early, I wasn't planning to hold this much SU for this long.. oh well, let's see what happens
