Oil at $70

Last oil was at 70 suncor was trading at 55 a share and cnq was 48 a share. Today cnq 45 and suncor 30. It's all in the dividend folks.

Cnq is also buying back shares.so what's your point?

Since imo announced a small divy increase they are up 7 a share. Su only about 3.50 in that same period.

You must be underwater. Why not sell out and jump into cnq?
Comment by ilvmyt5s on Jun 10, 2021 1:22pm
They are doing a share buyback at the highest Share Price? That's not good...
Comment by Boulter on Jun 10, 2021 1:48pm
If SU "should" be $55 but is only $30 then the correct move is to buy back shares while they are cheap. Can always raise the dividend in 3 or 4 years.
