I'm no physicist but I tend to think HFC EVs could be the easier option for Canada. On a related note, isn't it interesting that technical EV charging provisions were removed from Ontario's building code in 2019? https://www.ontario.ca/page/building-code-updates

LOL yeah maybe. Either way, I agree with you, I don't see everyone converting to EVs even by 2035, BEVs in particular. By then, BEVs may very well be considered old-fashioned.

If you are forced to buy an EV, then the best way to avoid a big bill for converting your electical system would be to change your electrical appliances for gas appliances. That way you wont have to wait for the wind to start blowing again in order to cook a meal !!

Yeah the natural gas they'll need to generate Electricity to charge all the EVs everyone will own by 2035? That natural gas?lol

Nat gas is the future !!! Suncor should really use their excess cash flow to get more involved.
