Perception

Results overall were good. This company has great FCF with $70+ U.S. WTI. All forms of energy at this point in time are very valuable. Q3 should be even better than Q2. Volume petered out just before 11 a.m. and we might see a slow climb up from here. The way Suncor is printing money it is hard to see much downside from here, but in the short term, emotion can drive the market.

if they quit wasting money on share buybacks which has done nothing to help sp, they could have tripled the divy by now SP keeps falling after they buyback higher priced shares, colossal waste of cash
