Perhaps you are holding them in the wrong account? The CDN$ had quite a jump as oil prices shot up today. You will get a much higher return from Suncor held on the US side if oil takes a very large move up, and the Canadian dollar responds accordingly as it always does.  My USD Suncor shares are up nicely at 4.74%, but my CDN Suncor shares are only up 3.51%. However you should really look

I think you will have to wait a few quarters for that.  However, if you believe the stock has been excessively sold off, and will return towards previous levels, have you considered buying options? Today my Suncor March 2022 $19 Calls went up 41% in one day already.

Canadian oil is the worst O&G investment in the world based on the its lowest oil price in the world, most intense political attack and political risk in the world, plus the most restricted market access. Better just to send the money to Singapore or London and invest in quality O&G not Canadian third rate junk oil run by overpaid fourth rate people. Best to have all funds out of the

Well Tommy , your friend in the PBO had it right about Trudeau calling an election in Mid August and scheduled for late September . I believe however that your statement on July 10 about a majority Liberal government and Trudeau being the most popular prime minister in Canada's history may be a tad off the mark by your own admission !!

Assuming that O'Toole has been honest with his own team, they will do doubt be working to ready themselves for when Trudeau's team starts the mudslinging. If O'Toole hasn't been honest with his own team then it could very well be game over for him (assuming Trudeau actually has something, that is). I hope they are ready. It'll be soon time for popcorn either way, I'm sure!
