Time to start buying back in. 20% of my position tomorrow. Next 20% in the 26's. Final 60% if it hits the 21's again. Lets see how she goes.

The buyback is ongoing. They bought back 4.1% of the outstanding shares this last financial year. The new NCIB is even more aggressive - over 6%. Deleveraging is also ongoing. I hope you are able to pick up shares at that level. You will be pleasantly surprised a year out. The improved fiscal stewardship of these companies - CVE / SU etc is good news for investors.

I did pick up the first 20% at 29.22. Suncor has treated me well this past year thus i want to get back to a full position that i sold at 33. The dividend yield is quite attractive now so i'm enjoying the pullback that i'm seeing in all my oil plays that i had sold. Sometimes you get the timing right. Good luck

If we could get a run started, the way the Gamestop investors did a couple of years ago, maybe the short sellers would squirm a little. I'm definitely adding to my position at these below-$30 prices.
