If your selling Suncor......
And you still want to stay invested in Canadian oil and gas, please let me know what your buying. I dont see any better company in this space that appears more undervalued .2022 will see the s/p double.Omicron will be the instrument that enables herd immunity against this covid pandemic and green energy has zero chance to stop oils growth for decades and politicians worldwide stance against fossil fuels will drive oil prices beyond anybodys expectations. SUNCOR IS AN EXTREMELY STRONG BUY AND HOLD.

One advantage companies like SU have is that they at least now pay a hefty dividend, so if you have to wait for the sp to recover, you can get paid to wait. Other companies that pay little to no dividend would be a nerve wracking buy right now imo

Chad: Thanks for sharing. The main reason that I participate in this thread is to read the thoughts - ideas - reasoning of others. When people share what securities they own and more speciically, why they own them, it is really helpful.

Ditto. Forgot to add that I really respect the SU board compared to some of the other boards. Hard to find good boards these days..... Thanks.

I was always looking to get into CVE but the lack of a div made me weary.... so I was 90% of my portfolio in SU all of last year LOL, now I'm more 65% SU, 10% ENB, and the rest cash... looking to put more in SU because this omicron thing might blow over, but then again these communists are shutting everything down.

Why would you sell one to go into another. Both MEG and CVE had a pullback. This was mainly due to what looked like a miss on CVE. I did not sell any shares but rather added to both MEG and CVE. SU did not drop enough for me to add more. So far so good.

Finally SU is getting a little love , premium dividend and grossly undervalued . Fasten your seatbelts and return your tray to the upright position , SU is next in line on the runway and ready for take-off .

Well SU was a C$50+ stock not that long ago (exactly 4-years ago to be exact), and there's no reason why it shouldn't surpass that price, especially when the next war breaks out in the Middle East.

No, short sellers love SU. Just wait until the squeeze happens.

No, I'm not a short seller. I'm holding SU now for over three years and added on the dips. I read this on the Apple bullboard and just confirmed for myself that keeping SU is good for this and next year: U.S. stock buybacks can keep surging next year (Ignore the marketwatch.com URL posted in that article.)
