So.....Are Russian assets frozen or not?

On Wednesday, Russia was required to make a payment on some of its foreign debt or risk default.


So what did the Russia do?

They said "Sure we will pay it but it will be paid from assets in the US frozen by the US.  If you don't let us do that then we will pay in worthless roubles".


What did Biden do?


He said "Sure, that's OK. You can use the frozen assets to pay the interest to our banks"


So are these assets really frozen?

Lots of that happening, I think most goverments simply close the front door and use the backdoor. It's the same as trade, we blocked trade with Russia, China and many others have not,do you think our trade goods don't get to Russia via those avenues?lol,its a strange and complex world. I'm one of those who wonder if Ukraine was using the right guidance to pursue nato? Very complicated
