And then Ukraine Blocks the River that supplies WATER to Crimea !!!!

I think there's lots of BLAME to go around, not just Putin, for what's happening in Ukraine.  Canada unfortunately a key player in all this Hyprocrisy...

Not necessirily disagreeing with you BUT there are other considerations. 1...countries have Constitutions and so there are rules that people have agreed to 2....yes Crimea is about 85% Russian and they voted to leave The Ulkraine...but just like Quebec voting to leave Canada, there are a host of considerations...political and economic....hasn't happened in Crimea 3...same goes for the ...more

The question of sovereignty is a philosophical one that I believe has only historically been answered through politics... which is the worst lens to solve any problem! What gives the right to a region to secede or separate from a larger one? What allows Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia to separate, and why can't that same courtesy apply to Catalonia, Donetsk, Lugansk, etc. If people have the right ...more
