Excellent read! Thanks Dave. Exactly what I have been preaching these last few years. Funny they took so long to come to those conclusions though. I guess some folks need to be hit by a truckload of data before getting on board. I like the part about the demand destruction calculation. In the 2008 oil spike, we had oil at around 5% of GDP, before the financial market collapse. How much did the ...more
