Bigger government, more interference, this would be a step too far for the US. "Yet Biden doesn’t want to burn more fossil fuels" Folks don't seem to be catching on that Biden is all about asking the rest of the world to produce, he just doesn't want it happening at home.  NIMBY. This way he can stand on the stage and claim the US is a whole bunch of things that it is not ...more

The botton line in all this is really quite simple. This "proposal" would further politize the oil the market where you have beaurocrats affecting the oil price based on politics as opposed to market forces. History has shown time and again if such things are left to political decisions, things get screwed up and I very much doubt that this time will be an exception.  If anything, ...more
