my wife and i have done very well with energy this year and we intend to enjoy our prifits in the sunny south
snow is for christmas after that it is boating and out door Cafe for us
sorry if this offnends anyone but this is how it has always been and  it will continue
the few will continue to provide smoke and mirrors to the many in order to maintain there existence in society

yes you r correct  however this situation is not entirely broiught on with this current generation i am in my mid 60's and spent my entire life listening to people with more education and supposedly  smarter as they had more education than i had     not being nasty here how ever when i finally let my highly educated advisor go and winged it on my own with street smarts

Can we make the necessary changes in enough time to make a difference? Not if most people, governments and businesses don't want to. If you do the math of 90 million barrels of oil a day (approx global use) times $100/barrel equals $9 Trillion

Ahem... If you do the math correctly, 90 million bpd x $100/bbl = 9 $Billion per day, not $Trillion per day. If you use the correct global consumption rate of 100 million bpd, you get 10 $Billion per day.
