The Petrocan sale came with 2 refineries (Montreal 137K / day, and Windsor 85 K/ day) and a pipeline or two. No need to write down anything.

Opps forgot the Edmonton refinery. 146 k / day. So thats 3 refineries Suncor got from Petrocan. We all know what it cost to build pipelines nowadays. So no write down.

Good more load on California power grid. Can't wait to see the black outs. Other then maybe a few in the Southern states be many a years till they even make a dent in the big truck market. Love to see how much more the freight will cost when the truck has to stop 3 times to charge hehe

I am a Suncor fan but the markets are about to take a downturn, where this leaves Suncor is anyone's guess, but I think the markets is about to sustain a huge drop.

That's interesting I glanced at Tesla site. Might be viable in city's long hauls I can't see it to many things to go wrong. My biggest issue would be if the truck broke down. Can't drag it to the nearest heavy duty mechanic shop. Southern states or warm climate yup I'm all for trying them. Other then that give me my 855 Cummins

Wild guess, new immigrants buy over 100-200,000 vehicles a year. Even though many are hybrid, EV and PHEV, my another wild guess is the # of gas vehicles - which I would put hybrids in that category - in Canada will continue increasing for the next 10 years.
