It is way past time that the four western provinces get together and form a united front in order to rectify at least some of the compounding absurdities that are increasingly dumped on them by Ottawa. To answer your last question , there can be no doubt that share prices in Canada are seriously manipulated. Just a day ago I was picking up a few thousand shares of a small producer. I wound up getting a fill at about 2 % less than my bid which was put in at a penny above the offering price. Nothing unusual there . What was unusual was I got a slew of trade confirmations each for a hundred shares
