Not properly wired

I once read that about 80% of investors/speculators don't make money or very little because
the humain brain is not properly wired to confront the ups and down of the stock market.

Many investors can't control their emotion.

When a good company trades down and is cheap, they get scared and sell at the worst moment.
Naturally, when it gets expensive, they buy.

As a long term investor in SU, i believe it is entering this phase of very chaep valuation
and in a few months, sellers will ask themself what was i thinking and why did i sell at such a cheap price.

Again sorry for the spellings, i am french and wish i was better in english to expand my thoughts.

WELL,BIG MISTAKE ON MY PART. ...more

Great discussion!! Here are some things I do and passed on to my clients when I worked in the investment business. 1....BEFORE you buy have a very clear idea why you are buying shares in the company 2...BEFORE you buy set a clear plan as to when you will sell and then stick to it.  This plan can range from owning for a couple of hours to decades.  Or can be a percentage - sell if it ...more
