peculiar timing of a U.S. debt downgrade
The night before a -17M bbl draw in crude stocks announcement.
Weren't the Dems in power last time there was a downgrade on U.S. debt (Obama)?
Maybe they are just no good at this.

Price of Oil now down over $2.00 bbl. Perhaps today they will make the announcement and make it official; "Peak Oil Demand has arrived, as of today!"
