Can anyone who resides in the great state of Louisiana provide an update of Marathon's Refinery (Garyville)storarage tank fire which occured this past Friday?
I can't seem to get ant recent updates via the internet on Mississippi barge traffic or anything associated, in order to share. I am not comfortable with MSM/Government reports which may in fact be misleading. Thanks...

Thanks for this z173. i am trying to connect the dots to see if this fire/shutdown follows the same metrics as the Freeport fiasco earlier this year, but in the opposite way. The US does not need OG disruption at the present time and will spin the truth in order to stymie price momentum.  The Frog media (greenies) will report what they are paid to report.

naphtha is just next class of distillate just heavier than gasoline At consumer level, it is use mostly for camping fuel, bbq starting fuel. It has a carbon range of C5-C12. Nearly all petroleum distillate can be served as a solvent, naphtha is just one of those solvent.
