Donwaan... There is no doubt that climate events cause damage which has to be repaired.  This is not new news. Further, even if it is true that climate change is resulting in even more damage than has been the case historically, a sudden 'enlightenment" by the leaders of every country in the world will take decades to reverse the trend. Enlightened leaders, now that would be somrthing wouldn't it! It took Pearl Harbour to get the US into WW2. As things grow worse a climate related Pearl Harbour event may get even unenlightened leaders attention.
