Good morning

 

Some good news from one of our neighbours. The fact that mines are getting permitted in our area is very positive, especially in the hands of the new government. Below, the news from Bloomberg:

 

 

 

BN 8/8/2011 16:20: Buenaventura Receives Permit to Start Tantahuatay Gold Mine

     Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SA, Perus biggest precious metals producer, said it received government authorization to start operating its Tantahuatay gold and copper mine.

     Tantahuatay is a joint venture with Southern Copper Corp., Lima-based Buenaventura said today in an e-mailed statement.
