Shorts

Over 2.8 mil short position added since early Feb. Some news post deal close should send us up quickly especially with the lower volume trading days as of late. I'm surprised we haven't heard the deal being increased by the allowable over allotment amount. It might happen with the deal closing news.

Shorts..the scum of the earth. Always, always, said it should be illegal..or maybe just naked shorting illegal and enforced. They say shorts "balance" the market. Bullsh!t, it destroys good business at times and shorters have no conscience.

Some of the shares have tough borrow and/or super expensive borrow rates - like 50% annualized etc. Its not a free arbitrage.... Yo can also short the shares and trade the ranges  - based on ...more

I don't believe these latest financing units have a hold period. Such a 3-4 month hold is usually explicitly stated in the NR.  Can anyone else confirm? Even if the sp were to drop 20 cents (which I don't think will happen), we would still be trading well above the deal price. Which a very strong sign. Not to mention the volumes are pretty low, meaning there's not much more to ...more

rixpix..if shorting was illegal..then they couldn't do that. I have always assumed that if a person or persons partook of a pp at a certain price(which is generally lower than the present market price) then they must have enough info on the company to expect a profit. Remember that in practically all private placements there are additional cheap warrants thrown in with the deal. And then of ...more
