Presentation

So Witowski is doing some sor5 of oral lecture but the presentations are two posters . I guess we will have to wait to see the name of the presentations .

There seems to be a large seller at 1.60 , unloading their position into any strength .
Comment by Markhamjohn on Apr 08, 2021 11:29am
Could be Bio Tech. He seems to have a lot of shares and said the following recently. "I sell at 1.60 and above and I have been for a while now. That isn't a secret. Remember my cost on these shares is literally next to nil so even at 40 cents,..."

There are some large investors that hold massive positions ... that are unhappy with management . Management has just given them lip service while they were so loyal. As one poster said recently , most of these investors are now really looking at the reality if Tolekis and the board can take this to the next level.  There are lots of headwinds and no vision by msnagement. Dont get me wrong ...more

Ms Sally for all we know there might not be an AGM this year. I don't get the frustration and impatience around the licensing deal. With NDAs the answers are obviously not going to come to us. If some one doesn't think Philip can pull it off then best strategy would be to sell. Otherwise it's a waiting game.
Comment by MustangSalley on Apr 08, 2021 3:18pm
Red, If one doesn't think Philip can pull it out , this is a public traded company and a shareholder has a right to vote . That is the only option a shareholder has . Besides shareholders selling would drive the price down to 60 to 70 cents.   Sernova must have an AGM. There is no way around it . WhyvRed you sound like management ? Let's have an AGM and let the shareholders vote ...more

Seems pretty involved for most shareholders I would call it an unlikely option especially at this juncture when the important information is held up in NDA's.  If I don't like management I move on.  Most investors/institutions I talk with are happy with Philip and optimistic so it seems there are obvious inconsistencies among those that hold large portions of the company.   ...more

Red , The best thing that could be is a buyout before AGM but you are dreaming . You know why ? Because TOLEIKIS has no intention of selling this now. He wants to milk this as long as he can and keep contriol over it .  There is nobody to keep him to account , the board is sleepy that's the way he likes it . Ask him why Medtronics has not made an offer or done a deal yet ...more

to my knowledge, AGM's are mandatory in Canada for public companies.  Also, I would disagree that "waiting game", lack of information, lack of progress on commitments (I.e. completing diabetes trials cohort in Q1) and inability to properly capitalize on the amazing results published in Jan is a valid investment strategy.
Comment by Metalsguy1 on Apr 08, 2021 9:05pm
@Sailboat...nice to some basic common sense here for once. What so many of promoters here fail to realize is that if all of the unhappy investors started selling, we would probably plummet. My current holdings are 4 mil plus, and I suspect there could 80 million plus on the unhappy side that I know of...directly and indirectly
Comment by Redbaron2211 on Apr 08, 2021 10:58pm
Metals you call this common sense??  No understanding on NDAs while failing to see how there would be no AGM after a company is bought out? Those "80mil shares"  will be happy pretty quick if a licensing deal materializes.  Boils down to impatient investors.
Comment by MustangSalley on Apr 08, 2021 11:26pm
Red,  I would happy with a licensing deal or deal with pharma with cash in .But I am more realistic than you.   Tolekis does not have the skill set or help to pull off a licending deal.  He does collaborations in the past with pharma and has got nothing back.  The excuse : new management is going in a different direction ... how many times in the past ten years ...more

Salley maybe I'm unrealistic it's a possibility but we had the same divergence last year before the AGM and many of the optimistic view points did manifest.  If investors are dissatisfied with management's performance they should vote but call the company and think for yourself. I personally dont feel/think Philip is an ego freak, I hope he will get some satisfaction in proving ...more

Investors being impatient you say? Some have been patient for many many years. Everyone has their limits especially when you see the same BS over and over again. Keep waiting and the markets will be in the dumps. Just another excuse for management like their 'different direction' excuse. I have heard that one many times too. Wonder why pharma, who is privy to NDA info, goes another ...more

So biotech..that post of yours is full of lies. Pharma uses the pouch for a couple of years and then go?  Maybe it's time for you to go. And to use your words, take your BS with you
Comment by BioTeck on Apr 09, 2021 11:28am
How is that a lie? You need to do some more DD my friend. Remember... you didn't even know who Sam was.
Comment by elgin1 on Apr 09, 2021 11:54am
Woundedknee Bioteck post is for real . What he is saying about Pharma is accurate .
Comment by woundedknee on Apr 09, 2021 1:15pm
I am officially issuing a total retraction of this post and others.
Comment by Metalsguy1 on Apr 09, 2021 3:23pm
woundedknee, Bioteck's post was not "full if lies".

Bio you can check the value of peers all you want Semma was bought out for 950mil US preclinical around 1.3mil Can it will not change.   SGTX has had valuations up to almost 2b but they are also preclinical and simply do not have the science to back it up, some stagnation and retracement is only natural.  In the meantime Sernova is well into clinical trials w/ very positive results and ...more

Red,  The difference was in December we did not know what the initial results of the clinical trials were. For once management had some leverage , the share price was close to $3. So what does Toleikis do ? He did a deal at $1.20 with a full warrant at 1.70  and 15% over allotment plus 2% legal fees . All in all 50 million shares for a bought deal.  Institutional US ...more
