Getting past Assumptions

Yes Red...we can agree to ignore the many "joke" posts.  And that still leaves open (given we're attempting to swing the gate that direction) some of the facts that Sally raises, and which I believe are correct.  Investors cannot argue with where the share price is compared to a year ago, although those who jumped in at $2+ might.  But even a year ago, you had to wonder about some of the historical decision making and processes used.  There are some (not all...by a long shot) sophisticated shareholders here who take personal umbrage with "what's happening behind the scenes" which we are told by Phillip we must remain blinded to.  You may be more comfortable with accepting the ways management has navigated this idea so far, and as I've acknowledged repeatedly, Phillip has worked hard at getting the science to a place where something disruptive could be at hand. And then what? Trust, and you'll/we'll get rewarded?  There are many who post here who include the addendum..."but verify."  The AGM is where I have stated we get to use our votes in a trust, but verify way.  My biggest beef is that the institutional side of this investor community may be more sophisticated at value realization than the guy piloting both the business side as well as the science side as CEO.  Does that make him a bad guy?  Absolutely not.  And...do I trust that he/we have a near unlimited runway to get this idea where it should be?  Absolutely not.  So let's assume going forward that we deserve better information as shareholders.  Let's also assume that any company worth investing in, doesn't see itself as being above having to provide clear answers to tough questions. Using the argument "Behind the scenes" is not done from a position of strength.  All I think some of us here want, is to be respected for our commitment.  We appreciate a good joke, we just don't want to end up being the target of that joke.

Very well said donkeyfeathers. What is so amazing to me is that management seems to be doubling down in keeping investors in the dark in the face of an unprecedented level of unrest over the utter failure to communicate any kind of plan or visuon.

"The fear is Tolekis drives this into the ditch because he has no business sense to take it to the next level."  I would argue fear is not a fact but rather an emotion based on perceived "facts" that are mostly stemming from a lack of information that could or could not be indicative of poor performance.  Anyways I can't argue against the many good points brought ...more

@Red the old adage that "you learn from your mistakes" is woefully outdated and a relatively recent scientific study debunked it. People learn a great deal more from success than failure. The failure to close a financially significant deal in the last 3 years clearly shows that no one at the company has learned from their mistakes. For goodness sakes how many times in the last few years ...more

Maybe some market sells will make Phil wake up.

Red then tell me why is Ray Matthews still getting paid for IR services if Philip is capable of making decisions from his mistakes ?   That alone clarifies his inabilities as management . He can't make a decision until he is forced to . That's why we are valued 4x below are peers but we are the first with clinical results ? So explain that Rec? DF made valuable ...more

Pretty simple Sally we were valued 20x below peers 4 months ago now were 2x-3x below peers with the potential to be 2x-3x above peers with a licensing deal.

omg. Red I think you gave me my first belly laugh of 2021. You are saying that we should be happy because - before management was doing such a lousy job on the business end that we were 20x inexcusably undervalued and now they are doing only a mildly lousy job because we are only 3x or 4x undervalued? What mental gymnastics will you perform for us if we get to fair value or more and our peers ...more

Yes that's exactly what I'm trying to get across.  Instead of being inexcusably negative It would be nice to see mild negativity.
