Several million shares were shorted today . In fact right from the get go. This was not retail selling . Imo this was done by professional houses ( canacorrd and LJG were party to it ....just speculation on my part).  

No wonder Canadian biotech companies directly ipo on the Nasdaq . They avoid Tsx exchanges all together . The naked shorting done today destroys all credibility for investors , companies and the exchange itself . Doug Loe shoukd be looked at . IIROC should investigate all theses trades to see who the proxy houses are shorting for . 

There is no way this should gone down 25% today . It was manipulated and shorted purposefully in my opinion. News was very good and positive . 

No legacy shareholders with large positions sold today . Nobody would dump millions of shares into the market like that at the open .

I think your spot on Elgin.  Does reek of manipulation, and Doug's PT of $2.50 is suspicious.  I get the sand bag PT last year and a heavy short into the BD but this year hardly seems worth it for the 25%. Maybe for accumulation or just dirty and desperate, who knows.  Let's hope creditability is regained with big pharma and an up list, so we can

Always maintained the IIROC has no backbone and is easily manipulated. And that statement is being charitable. Isn't naked shorting supposed to be illegal? If not, why not? You can't do naked buying, that is buy more shares than a company is capitalized for. Then why can you sell more shares than exists?

LJG acts as a market maker of the company, so they can legally naked short as a function of the market maker, not to mention the loophole that allows institutions to naked short in Canada as long as there is a “reasonable expectation” of settling a trade without actually borrowing the stock. They will need to cover, and they make their money buying your shares on the cheap.   Don

Thank you for catching my error Mercuryfilling, I meant to type those GUILTY. You are correct, we are the victims that have been severely punished, Millions of $'s of paper losses yesterday.  I purposely do not have a Margin Account so no one is legally allowed to get my shares to short.
