Immunosuppresion clarification
I just spoke to management for clarification on the immunosuppresion.
There are no issues with pouch itself . First three patients immunosuppresion was stable . Before pouch is loaded up with cells, immunosuppresion levels have to be stable . There are varsables that effect each individual patient for the dosing of immunosuppresive drugs ie. kidney , liver etc . Optimal immunosuppresion was not achieved with last 3 patients for a number of reasons. This has been resolved now . Repeat it has nothing to do with the pouch itself but the immunosuppressive drugs themselves . Expect results for patients 4 and possibk6 5 and 6 in a few months time.

Is the application of immunossuppressive drugs worse that the 'cure' for HU? Are drugs applied daily? Oral or injection?How many drugs (is it a cocktail)? Anyone know? Thanks.
