SXP

EVERYTHING TOO MUCH THAT THIS ACTION IS NOT FOLLOWED BY ANALYSTS. WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT FINANCIAL RESULT TO COME TO THE SAME PLACE AS THE LAST RESULTS WERE RELEASED.

Don't need analysts Dem Dem. As long as SXP continues to create cash from earnings the share will take care of itself. But saying that if SXP produces another splendid quarter more analysts are likely to come. But saying that where were the analysts when the shares pummelled to $1.25. That would be the time for analysts to recommend a buy rating as the shares were undervalued. But no they ...more

I would love someone to offer up a 5-10,000 block of shares to me at this price, I'd grab them up in a flash. (I missed one opportunity this morning) Dribs and drabs being put up at the end of the year for profit taking would cost me commission wise and the spread is large right now. I hated when they changed the on-line all or none rules.

The quote doesn't always show all the volume. I put in an order yesterday to buy 8,000 shares (through RBC) and was immediately filled. But I didn't see the trade on my quote screen. Sometimes it's good to just pick your price, put in an order, and hope.

hawkowl, last reported ncib trading by SXP was in october (20,000 shrs at arounf $4.25). The stock being well over $5, I guess they are less tempted to buy back although its value is well over that. By the way Georges Kobrinsky, a director, bought 1000 shares yesterday at $5.36 Kobrynsky, Georges

Really? I'm with TD and if I put in a buy order for 5,000 shares they may fill it with 50 buys of 100 shares each costing me $ hundreds in commission.
Comment by HermannHaller on Dec 07, 2022 1:47pm
That's not good. Maybe you should consider a switch. National Bank even has zero commissions on stock trades.

I am with RBC direct investing. 9.95 a trade or if you do more than I think 150 in a quarter it is 6.95. I think you have to have at least 10,000 in your account,.
