Back to January 23 level

Here we are at the January 23 level , this stock add a superb run, it will now be driven by fundamentals, with the numbers they show and the balance sheet they have our wait will be rewarded.  Right now siting very calm and reinvesting my dividends to accumulate more stock.  With SXP I bought, I waited and I was rewarded why would this change ?

More like where they were in early November after their excellent 3rd quarter results and they don't appear to be getting any credit for the 4th quarter improvements and substantial raise in dividend? The daily graph is starting to look like a pump and dump going into and after the full year results.

You have to bear in mind that Supremex is dealing in cyclical product markets. What is happening to the price of envelopes right now? The price of folding cartons? No dispute that they've put together a great business. But if the prices of envelopes and boxes are retreating--and I don't know for sure that they are (or how much)--then the share price will also retreat.

Why is SXP not using NCIB to support share price? Or did NCIB expire and not been renewed?

In general, mgmt just seems to be very conservative. I track buybacks on a monthly basis. Last year they bought zero shares in February. Then when they reported Q1, they cautioned investors on the call about supply challenges. Of course Q2 and Q3 were huge growth quarters, and the share priced jumped up. They missed an opportunity to buy back more shares very cheap. Following the latest two ...more
