I can't argue with debt repayment , the company buying back shares at low low prices or insiders buying shares.
Huh? On the other hand . can anybody explain "Separately, as per his employment agreement, Sylogist will pay former Executive Vice President Dave Elder $1.2 million in connection with his retirement."
I guess this is less than the $2.4 million he would collect if there was a change in control of the corporation but still a good payday for leaving a job voluntarily.
I must have worked in the wrong industry.

The press release was a bit of a nothing-berger.  I think they believed that the severabce payment of the $1.2 million in the employment agreement of Dave Elder required disclosure.  Debt payment for me means that they have operating cash flow in Q4 which is a good thing. The comment on the share buybacks is that they have been maxing their NCIB since the Q3-22 statements were released ...more
