Warrant question

Just came across this play.

Anyone into the warrants.  What is the difference between the two .  The Dec 2023 one looks fairly straight forward, but the other one is confussing, at least to me.

WTs were pre RS of 8 to 1 so you need 8 plus the strike price to buy 1 share. Which is why they are cheaper than the WS series

Best, shortest answer I have seen. You got it. Strike price (of 8 warrants) for one share is $0.72 expiry June 2023, I believe, but make sure you confirm yourself.

Warrants szls.wt or szls.ws   The WT warrants require 8 warrants for 1 share so at a current price of $0.08 you need 8 or $0.64 total add an exercise price of $.0.72 total is $1.36 for 1 share.  Expire date is June 2023,   There are just under 80 million warrants so 10 million shares could be purchased if all are exercised.  The WS warrants require 1 warrant for 1 ...more

I should probably just add that the WS warrants are a little strange. When I search price on RBC I have to enter the ticker szls.wt.s for a quote but when I purchase I purchase using the ticker szls.ws.  These links also show the number of warrants outstanding for both wt and ws.  Note the ws is shown as wis: https://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/szls.wis?countrycode=ca https ...more

I repost some of the preceding answers for you  Lewp (1) | January 22, 2021 06:14 pm so 72 cents is the strike price you need 8 to buy one share so if the share is 1.13 then a warrant is worth 1.13-.72=.41 cents divided by 8=5 cents   so if the price stays at 1.13 until expiry 5 cents is what they would be worth so every 8 cents the stock goes up the warrant value goes up 1 ...more

You have most of it.  There is both intrinsic value and time value.  The intrinsic value is what they are worth as warrants because you are able to leverage vs the cost of paying more to buy shares.  So say that's worth $0.03 per warrant.  Than you have time value which is the extra value because you can hold the warrants until June 2023 and if the stock is increasing the ...more

And just to add.  The company needs a marketing plan and should be hiring an outside PR firm.  With 3 weeks or less than Aristotle we should be seeing something by now.  Come on Tripp lets get an update on covid or some taste of whats to come.
