Warrants
Group question. If you were to have warrants and SZLS gets bought out and your warrants are indeed above strike price. What would happen to the Warrants if you didn't convert them in Time. Automatic conversion? Stock in Company that aquired SZLS or .... Thanks for the input

There should be time convert or sell... but I believe that even Mr. Tripp has many warrants, as do all the recent PP, so I expect them to account for the warrants in any reasonable offer if there is a buy out. All IMO. DYODD.

This is a question I had as well. Anyone know if warrants are accounted for the same as common shares in a buy out...........

Don't forget. If a buyout happens, it will be in US dollars. 2B deal is $34/share US so 44$ cnd/share

If you're right, I'd sell enough warrants to exercise the balance... Anyone know average time it takes to exercise warrants to stocks from the moment you call your broker? 1 week? 2 weeks? Thanks!

My question for warrants was will price go up in relation to potential buy out price. Say it's the 2B buyout at $44 a share. With the calculation of that if the stock went to $44. The warrants would then be priced at $5.41 CAD? Would these prices be reflective in the market on the exchange?

I can't tell you if they would carry over, but 100% there is always a time lapse where stage will still trade in that scenario until the transfer happens. in my experience the stocks will trade at whatever the fair value of the buyout would be, giving everyone time to sell warrants to those who want them and/or execute them into shares

Warrants would evaluated as they are on the books: one ws @ $1.10 and 8 for 1 wtat 0.72. So either cash or stock, they are covered. Great thing about accounting there is a line item for everything.
