Galleri

There is an article in Google News on pathfinder if you read down or scroll to Galleri introduction it mentioned .I tried to post but can't do it.

So a larger competitor worth billions is getting airplay for an inferior test. That's awesome news for Stagezero   Bring attention to the cancer detection market just as we partner with a media company with global reach and experience with international customers and a global reach deal with care oncology, $6 million in the bank and positive ebitda.    a perfect storm.& ...more

IR is absolutely correct the two products aren't really comparable. Aristotle is far superior.

Illumina lost their last FTC fight. So the analysts haven't been too positive about this one either from what I've read.  Illumina hits yet another legal snag as clock ticks on $8B deal for Grail Grail took a major step forward in its quest to deliver a single blood test capable of detecting the presence of multiple cancers with the long-awaited launch of its Galleri diagnostic ...more

I havent researched Grail as much as I should.  strange store that they had grail to begin with, then moved to only have 15%, and now wants it back but cant. Why are they calling their test "groundbreaking" though?  Stagezero beat them to it.
Comment by gojotv! on Jun 07, 2021 8:35pm
They're calling the test "groundbreaking" because, in the business world, a little money turns "B.S." into "P.R." lol
Comment by OakTreeforest39 on Jun 08, 2021 8:15am
That's why I'm so patient with szls....you have 8 billions on one side and the 35 millions SZLS on the other side with a working Aristotle and cash cow covid....and all the prospects in inflammatory diseases and others....! One day or another I cannot believe that we are not going to get a market cap in the middle! If not, szls it's the best exemple on how irrational the stock market ...more

when will someone other the Mr Tripp talk about Aristotle and how great it is?. it seems to be the best kept secret for way too long
Comment by capebretongirl on Jun 08, 2021 11:39am
Investortel, Lifton, Atkinson of Clarus, the Medical Journal publication and others have touted its virtues, however I can't understand how Grail gets its fanfair at a time when SZ had already beaten them to the punch with superior testing. Given Grails ongoing efforts to improve specificity percentages of their tests, SZ would seem to be a natural partner.  All head scratching.........
Comment by davewho on Jun 08, 2021 12:37pm
Grail has lots of money. They are paying the hospitals in the UK to research the test to 2025 and I was reading this morning they are also paying people/volunteers to take the test. I would guess they are also paying for the fanfair. IMO
Comment by capebretongirl on Jun 08, 2021 12:45pm
I hope they pay millions for the advertising of liquid biopsy testing for cancer as that will eventually help SZ through awareness.  What we need now is for some credible independent medical/media sources to pick up on Aristotle and start making well researched comparisons.

from Grails website Galleri: GRAIL’s multi-cancer early detection test The Galleri test is designed to detect multiple types of cancer through a single blood draw by looking for signals of cancer that may be present. If a signal that may be cancer is detected, Galleri is designed to identify the location in the body where the signal may be coming from, for example, the pancreas or the lungs ...more

galleri seems to be DNA based using circulating cell tumor DNA or ctDNA for short. So you must have a cancer tumor for it to work is the way I understand it. Tumors lose pieces of DNA, but they’re hard to find in the blood. Of the cell-free DNA in the blood of someone with cancer, the circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) might account for just 0.1%. Once extracted, that ctDNA can be analyzed—usually ...more

All of the articles I have read on this board of the type you contributed never mention StageZero or Aristotle. Are we the black sheep or long lost cousin of this cancer busting group? I still have faith (in fact I increased my position by 110% since mid-May); but I would like some tangible income results - soon. My main concern is that technology can move forward at a very rapid pace; we don ...more

Clearly, the author wrote this article in response to press releases from American PR firms. It's not in-depth or researched. Now that SZLS has an American PR provider (just announced last week) we should see more little interest being drummed up in interested quarters. It'll certainly be fun when Aristotle's detection accuracy and specificity rates are compared to its competitors ...more

ctDNA (Grail) vs mRNA (Stagezero) 2 different approaches. Looks like mRNA is the better of the 2 approaches and probably explains why our numbers are much better than Grails.  Ours is more of an early detection where theres is just a confirmation of later stages. https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/Circulating-Tumor-Cells%2C-DNA%2C-and-mRNA%3A-Potential-Xu-Dorsey ...more

Sorry was trying to post a comparison table between ctDNA and mRNA.  It's at this link,  maybe someone can post this table  https://www.semanticscholar.org/paper/Circulating-Tumor-Cells%2C-DNA%2C-and-mRNA%3A-Potential-Xu-Dorsey/d730b71bc04ef5f57c935ee18307ecac6a86199f/figure/1

anyone want to take a shot at this? Does it take 50 days and multiple tests for diagnosis? When cancer was confirmed, Galleri’s first or second cancer signal origin prediction was 96.3% accurate (95% CI: 81.7-99.8%), with a median observed time to cancer diagnosis of 50 days.
Comment by capebretongirl on Jun 08, 2021 4:00pm
My understanding is that it takes two weeks for results. Here is a descriptive I found on the Galleri website: Receive your results and next steps About two weeks after your blood draw, your results will be shared with you through your ordering healthcare provider.2 The Galleri test looks for signals present in the blood that may be associated with cancer at the time of your ...more

That doesn't sound very positive.  I realize it must be due to legal requirements but it doesn't provide a high level of confidence in Grail's tests. Come on Shift let's get the word out on Aristotle.
Comment by Mermer2328 on Jun 08, 2021 5:40pm
Exactly, Aristotle was apparently launched and Live as we speak on April 1st, right out of Tripp's mouth. 70 Days have passed..... and nothing. This has been so devastating to the SP. Any explanation will do...
Comment by gojotv! on Jun 08, 2021 6:47pm
Mermer is lying. There has definitely been something. Tripp confirmed that Aristotle is selling. Anyone who listens to the interviews can get the information without having it filtered through Mermer the Basher. The plan was to deploy it within Care Oncology's patient base first, as that's the best way to get high numbers and initial revenues while minimizing cost. You remember cost ...more

An explanation from You dont count unfortunately. It seems strange since You have been here the SP has gone one direction. And as for me being a basher, I have 10 times the shares You got Mr. You just cant handle reality and the truth
Comment by gojotv! on Jun 08, 2021 10:24pm
Again, Mermer is lying. He doesn't know how many shares I've got. I had some pre-consolidation and many more since the price went down for no good reason. Who wouldn't buy in such a market? And the claim Mermer is making that he owns "ten times the shares"...? Well, that's the sound of a desperate basher talking out of his behind-hole. Light a match, somebody, that talk ...more

There is no match with mRNA, I wouldn't be surprised if it will bring a cure to many serious diseases in a near future.
Comment by Mermer2328 on Jun 08, 2021 1:39pm
All of the mentioned parties have a stake in SZ or are paid to host an interview... Have we beaten Grail as 1st to market?? prove it. Why cant Tripp tell us of the first 100 Aristotle tests have been completed. I'd say that huge news to us all
